Campus Pastor (Coming Oct 27th 2025)
Emma Mullen
Emma was born and raised in Weymouth, Nova Scotia. She graduated from Kingswood University in 2025, with a Bachelor of Arts in Ministry: Pastoral Ministry major, and Christian Counselling minor. Her heart is for those who know Jesus to become more and more like Him - through abiding and growing in the Word and in the Spirit. Emma believes that there is even more abundant life to be found in Christ - more freedom, more joy, and more love - for all of us. She is a gifted communicator, who is passionate about discipleship, leadership development, and organizational health. In her free time, you can find her enjoying some specialty coffee, baking, hiking, or kayaking.
Emma will be the hands-on leader at Connection Church. While serving under the Lead Pastor (Evan), she will be the person at Connection who: preaches most often, helps develop and implement new programs, disciples leaders, and manages the ministry teams. It isn't her job to do all the "ministry", but it is her job to help the people of Connection function as the Church by doing ministry and becoming disciples who make disciples!

Lead Pastor
Rev. Evan Oxner
Evan is... well... one of a kind I guess. And we should all be thankful there aren't any more like him! Granted, his kids are like him, but they carry more of their mother's characteristics, thank the Lord!

Evan has been in full-time ministry for about 15 years, served on staff in Perth-Andover NB for 4 years, and then moved to Amherst NS where he has served as the Lead Pastor of the Amherst Wesleyan Church. He continues to lead the church in Amherst, but has now taken on the role of leading Connection Church as well!

He preaches most of the time in Amherst, but you will see him around Connection preaching about once a month, and he will be around to support Emma and make sure she doesn't do anything too crazy!

Assistant Pastor
Rev. Bradford Jordan
Brad is a bit of a sports nut, likes having fun, and has a huge heart for reaching teens and kids with the hope Jesus has for them. He has been working at the Amherst Wesleyan Church since 2021. He is an incredible pastor to the teens of the area and has taken on the task of doing the same here in Truro, while also continuing his work in Amherst!

His main responsibility in Truro is working with students and teens, but he also sometimes preaches and helps with special events!
