Austin was born and raised in Hampstead, Maryland and spent most of his teen years in Hanover, Pennsylvania. When he was 16 years old, Austin received a powerful vision of the Lord, calling him to become a Christian and to serve Jesus in ministry for the rest of his life. In 2021, he came to Canada to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Minsitry at Kingswood University, graduating in May 2026. Austin is burdened deeply for all people, knowing it is God's desire that none should perish, but that all would be called to repentance. He is called to join God in the work of shepherding His people and reaching the lost by teaching them His Word, guiding them toward holiness, and standing with them in their pain and grief. In his free time, Austin is an avid reader, baseball fan, trading card game enthusiast, and enjoys playing video games with his friends.
Austin is one of the hands-on leaders at Connection Church. Serving under Pastor Evan, Austin primarily focuses on developing programs and content for discipleship, serving the worship and tech ministries, and preparing to launch Connection Church's recovery ministry.
Emma & Austin have been married since July 2026, and make a dynamic team who both serve the Lord and Connection Church with their complementary gifts.
